If your driver licence ever get lost or stolen you need your driver licences number to apply for a new driver licences from your state or it could be a long hard road to get a replacement driver licences. An easy way to safe guard from this is make a photo copy of your driver licences and put the copy in a safe place and you have all your driver licences info if you ever need it.
